Years ago, a therapist told me that if something, like exercise, feels like too much, i should start with something minimal. Like watering some plants outside or doing some stretches. Even if I never make it past that small thing (which many times I end up doing a lot more), I won't feel like I did nothing at all. rachelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11188466069469548703noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-743676916502119928.post-32787923375425085722012-06-28T21:30:06.994-04:002012-06-28T21:30:06.994-04:00Also I don't see a follower thingie on here? Like, when the time on the cardio machine counts down to 5 minutes, when I can start my cooldown, or how incredibly relaxed I'll be when I get to hit the sauna, or how invigorated once I get in the cold shower. Or how great I'll feel the rest of the day. It's obvious I know, but getting yourself motivated is always the hardest part.

Thanks for joining the challenge! I think it's gonna be great, I'm really looking forward to it. :)Jamiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10913532305113800700noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-743676916502119928.post-23433459455873174462012-06-15T15:02:38.662-04:002012-06-15T15:02:38.662-04:00I firmly believe and understand how much mental he...I firmly believe and understand how much mental health affects physical health! I think a lot of people probably feel the same and just don't talk about it because of shame... I think your openness is admirable.

After Olivia I went through PPD and I didn't have the will to do anything further than try to hide my emotions. That's somewhat comforting :) lol sorry! I just can't help but feel frustrated that I've lost 40lbs and I'm still overweight. Granted, I was much bigger and I recognize my accomplishments, it is just annoying. I'm angry for being fed lies about fat. I'm angry that I dealt with arthritis for so many years and had surgery when it was grains causing the problem. I'm angry that I made my weight worse by staying away from animal products and turning to grains that I assumed were good for me. I'm incredibly mad that we are fed lies about nutrition and fat people are made to feel like they just don't have enough control. The list of why I am mad goes on and on, but I need to get over it. I've found the solution and several other family members have also! My stepdad has lost 70lbs, my cousin lost 65lbs, my mom has last 35lbs, Neal is gaining muscle for the first time in his life, and my brother just joined us!

A friend who lost 80lbs told me that she went through an angry stage also, but it passed.rachelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11188466069469548703noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-743676916502119928.post-40510795872606839392012-05-09T11:20:25.046-04:002012-05-09T11:20:25.046-04:00Each Shred workout is only 20 mintutes!
